Tiny Disasters™ creates live events, including performances and workshops.
In collaboration with Caroline Park
The { e a r w i n g s } workshops facilitate occasions for individual and social acts of listening to generate unconventional forms of sensing-feeling-knowing. Participants are coaxed into becoming-animal as earcreatures enacting radical forms of listening, destabilizing customary ways of knowing that favour seeing/languaging.
Tiny Disasters™ electro-sonic performances plug in twin theremins for infinite reverb of continuous improvisational listening-responding. For instance, the Y-T-B-T (yet to be titled) performance experiments with speculative realities of interspecies coexistence, by using sound pulses to respond to bird calls recorded by the artists. The performers reach out with their electronic vibrations to mingle within the field of avian vocal expression.
